In yesterday's Courier-Tribune, Chip Womick profiles the extraordinary Brenda Lopez, a Randolph Community College student who is on the Randolph Reads: A Home on the Field organizing committee.
Brenda will be part of the Latino Youth Issues Forum coming up at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 27, at the Randolph Community College Foundation Center, along with A Home on the Field author Paul Cuadros, UNC Department of Public Policy researcher Stephanie Potochnick and Eastern Randolph High School guidance counselor Yajaira Owens.
