Next up for Randolph Reads: discussion, art exhibit field trip

The first Randolph Reads: A Home on the Field book discussion will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 11, at the Seagrove Public Library; Philip Shore III will facilitate.

That same day, vans will leave from the Asheboro library at 4:15 p.m. for a field trip to "TRANSactions: Contemporary Latin American and Latino Art" at the Weatherspoon Art Museum at UNC-Greensboro. A tour of the exhibit will be provided by Weatherspoon Curator of Education Ann Grimaldi at 5:30.

The trip is free and the public is invited, but we need a count for the vans; sign up at here by 5 p.m. Tuesday. If you want to meet us at the museum, sign-up is not necessary.
